Here are examples of studies and progress being made in the Nest.

Valued Places - EYFS

In the Nest EYFS provision children have been learning about place value using concrete objects such as a dice, large numbers and foam bricks.

Liquid Approach, Solid Results - KS1

In the Nest provision, our KS1 children have been learning about states of matter using water beads and exploring how they change from hard to soft.

One of Four Forces - LKS2

The lower KS2 children in the Nest provision have been learning about forces using magnets. They have been investigating what objects are magnetic in their environment. They were also using magnets to sort non mental and metal objects.

Measuring Up - UKS2

The upper KS2 children are learning about height and exploring using tape measures to measure each other and compare heights.
