Together, Strong

In Summer 1 the school has been learning about Diversity and Difference. They have explored the various ways that people can be different and were taught to understand the importance of those differences to our society. 

Touching Words - KS1

In Year 2, the children have been learning about how blind people use braille to read and navigate the world. They created labels in braille for a variety of everyday objects as well as their name. 

Uniquely United - LKS2

This half term we have been learning about tolerance and differences. The children learnt about the differences that they have with their friends and peers, why this is fantastic and why it is important to celebrate them. Children also learnt that people may have physical differences, that it is okay to be different and not to judge others. 

Stand Tall, Stand Together - UKS2

Year 6 have been learning the importance of treating everybody equally and they have focused on standing up against homophobia and homophobic language. They have learnt not to stand back but to stand up to it.
