Travel for Life Convention

On Thursday 6th November 2025, Heronsgate Travel Ambassadors from Year 4 and 5 across both campuses attended the Royal Borough of Greenwich Travel for Life Ambassadors Annual Convention. The Ambassadors completed a carousel of tasks involving our school-specific travel data analysis, road safety puzzles & quizzes, and Scoot Fit physical exercise activities. They also met with very special guest speaker, Mayor of Greenwich, Councillor Linda Bird! The convention and supporting Road Safety Officers helped our ambassadors learn more about their role and enabled them to begin planning for the coming year’s safe, active and sustainable travel at Heronsgate.
