Royal Institution Show

On Wednesday 17th September the Royal Institution visited us at Heronsgate and performed their action-packed ‘Energy Live’ show. The presenter taught pupils about how energy is stored in different ways.

The demonstrations involving bouncing eggs, setting fire to bubbles and flicking elastics. She introduced concepts such as gravity, kinetic energy, and elastic energy in a fun and accessible way. By seeing the concepts of energy in action, pupils were able to better understand the terminology and how it affects their lives.
