Parent/Carers
- Ensure that my child attends school regularly and inform the school of the reason for absence.
- Support my child with homework, other home learning opportunities and listen to my child read.
- Ensure that my child is physically prepared for learning, by having a good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast and a healthy lunch.
- Make arrangements to ensure my child’s safety to and from school.
- See that my child arrives at school and is collected promptly at the end of the school day.
- Attend parents evening and discussions about my child’s progress ay school.
- Support the school’s policies and guidelines on behaviour and equal opportunities.
- See that my child wears the correct uniform.
- Make sure that I never discuss the school or teachers in a negative way in front of my child, but instead come in to the school to talk about my concerns.
- Promote the school values of: Responsibility, Unity, Freedom, Co-operation, Peace, Respect, Love, Tolerance, Honesty, Simplicity and Humility.

- Deliver a balanced and carefully planned curriculum which meets the needs of your child and the requirements of the National Curriculum.
- Set your child regular homework tasks including reading.
- Ensure your child’s physical and social well-being at all times and nurture feelings of confidence, self-worth and belonging.
- Provide a range of extra-curricular activities designed to enrich the children’s school experience.
- Let you know regularly how your child is progressing.
- Inform parents and carers what the teachers aim to teach your child each term.
- Expect the best from children in behaviour and learning.
- Contact you as soon as possible if we are concerned about your child’s work or behaviour.
- Contact you if we are concerned about your child’s attendance and punctuality.
- To actively welcome parents / carers into the life of the school and to ensure that staff are always readily available to discuss any concerns you might have about your child’s progress.
