MATHS

Answer the fluency questions.

Complete the subtraction worksheets by recognising the relationship between subtracting the ones and subtracting the tens.

ENGLISH

A day in the life of a Queen/King.

Today you will imagine that you are a queen or king. Write about what activities you would do throughout the day. Read the example on the worksheet below before starting and make sure to write in full sentences and include all the success criteria. You may write on Showbie using the tools or on paper and upload a photo.

PE

Complete today’s PE session in a clear space. Make sure you drink plenty of water and take rests when you need to.

Warm up:

Thursday 23rd April – Day 14

MATHS

Answer the fluency questions.

Complete the subtraction worksheets by counting back on the number line/hundred square provided. On the third page, subtract using the column method – subtract the ones first, then subtract the tens.

Check and correct your answers from yesterday using the answer sheet below.

ENGLISH

Today you will be using your research notes you made yesterday to create a fact file. Use the sub-headings provided on the worksheet & write on the template using the Showbie tools. Remember to write in full sentences and look at the success criteria carefully so you include it in your writing.

ENGLISH

Today we would like you to research Queen Elizabeth II.

There is also a template that you can use to help organise your notes or put them in your book. During your research, we would like you to find out her:

  • Full name
  • Date and place of birth
  • Why she is significant. (Important)
  • Her family
  • Interesting facts.

Use these headings to help you write notes when you research. Use the factfile and websites to help you research.

Notes do not have to be full sentences

E.g. Elizabeth became Queen on 2nd June 1952

She is married to Prince Phillip.

Interpret the pictures of Queen Elizabeth II and Buckingham Palace on the sheet. Make sure you look at the success criteria carefully so you include it in your sentences.
